CHIMACUM — A Wednesday collision destroyed two cars and sent one driver to a Seattle hospital, the State Patrol said.
Lauretta Cofer, 63, of Port Ludlow was taken to Jefferson Healthcare in Port Townsend and then transferred to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after the wreck at 5:46 p.m. Wednesday.
Her condition was not available Thursday afternoon.
The State Patrol said a 1999 Subaru Legacy driven by Susan Latham, 60, of Chimacum was traveling northbound on state Highway 19 when it stopped to make a left turn on Larson Lake Road.
It was struck from behind by a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Cofer.
Latham was not injured.
The wreck is under investigation, the State Patrol said.
Both vehicles were destroyed, the State Patrol said.
