The Port Ludlow Village Council will name a new member to the nongovernmental board when it meets next week.
A new member is being sought to replace Councilman Ron Null, who resigned last week from the 13-member board.
The replacement must be a South Bay resident, according to council rules.
Council members say they will appoint the new member April 17
Null criticized the council when he resigned, saying the role of the council should be reassessed.
He had been elected to the council last November and served on its tax committee.
