PORT LUDLOW — Area residents will have their say next week on a proposal to develop 41 single-family homes on 38.5 acres along Teal Lake Road.
The Jefferson County hearings examiner will hold a public hearing on the proposed Olympic Terrace 1 development east of Port Ludlow Golf Course is scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in the basement conference room of the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.
The tract is currently known as Woodridge 2, but would be renamed Olympic Terrace 1 when the revised subdivision is approved.
The acreage was originally part of a larger residential development of 110 acres with 54 single family lots.
All but 19 of those lots were platted in December 1996 and became Woodridge Village, on the northeast side of Teal Lake Road.
Port Ludlow Associates now wants to redivide the remaining 19 lots to increase development density and make room for 41 new single-family homes.
