PORT HADLOCK — Detectives investigating Friday’s robbery of the Bank of America branch in Port Hadlock got back photos from the bank’s security camera Tuesday, and are looking into tips from two people who may have seen the lone gunman.
Detective Joe Nole of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the department received seven photos developed by the FBI, who took the bank’s 35 mm film to Seattle for processing following the robbery Friday afternoon.
Neither the Sheriff’s Office nor the FBI were able to identify the robber from the photos, which show a white male in his 50s sporting a full-brim hat and mustache, waiting at the teller’s counter during the robbery at 10 Oak Bay Road.
“None of us recognizes the person, unfortunately,” Nole said.
Nole said the Sheriff’s Office plans to post the photos in local businesses over the next several days.
The remainder of the security camera photos — likely to be several hundred — will be reviewed later in the week when they are made available, Nole said.
Police said the suspect is between 5 foot 7 inches and 5-9 with an average build. He was described as having brown, graying hair, a weathered or tan complexion, and bright blue eyes.
