SEQUIM — An 18-year-old Port Angeles woman was released from Olympic Medical Center early Sunday morning after a three-vehicle wreck Saturday, according to a nursing supervisor.
Clairssa Robertson was injured and transferred to OMC after the vehicle she was in was rear-ended on U.S. Highway 101 at Simdars Road near Sequim at about 7:35 p.m. Saturday, according to a State Patrol report.
Jennifer Marx of Chimacum, 44, who was driving a blue 1991 Toyota 4-Runner, rear-ended a Red 1984 Datsun 200SX, forcing it to hit the White Hyundai Accent in front of it, according to the report.
The Datsun and the Hyundai had slowed for stopped traffic.
Robertson and another passenger in the Datsun were both injured in the wreck.
The other passenger, Todd Charles of Port Angeles, 34, was treated at the scene for his injuries.
The Toyota and Datsun were both towed from the scene. The Hyundai was damaged, but was driven from the scene.
Marx was cited for speed and inattention, according to the report.
