PORT ORCHARD — A Port Angeles woman was cited for suspicion of causing a three-car wreck that injured two Kitsap County residents Saturday evening.
Lucylle S. Honnold, 54, was driving a Honda Ridgeline westbound on state Highway 16, just west of Sedgwick Road, at 6:15 p.m.
She changed lanes, cutting off the path of a Ford Explorer driven by Lisa Taylor, 45, of Gig Harbor, said State Patrol spokeswoman Marka Segrest.
Taylor overcorrected, crossed into the oncoming lane and into the path of a Ford Mustang driven by Justin Saetrum, 24, of Bainbridge Island, Segrest said.
Taylor and Saetrum collided, causing injuries to both drivers, she said.
Taylor was transported to Harrison Medical Center in Silverdale.
Saetrum was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Gig Harbor.
Honnold was not injured and was cited for an unsafe lane change, Segrest said.
All three vehicles were damaged.
