It’s a good day for ribbons and scissors in Port Angeles today as two significant dedications are scheduled.
Westport Shipyard Inc. cuts the ribbon on its 102,000-square-foot yacht plant at 11:15 a.m. The public is invited to tours of the huge building at 637 Marine Drive from 10 a.m. to noon.
Then at 1:30 p.m., more ribbon will be cut on a new entrance road to William R. Fairchild International Airport’s passenger terminal.
Port of Port Angeles commissioners will dedicate the new road at its Lauridsen Boulevard intersection. The public is also invited to the ceremony.
