PORT ANGELES — Two city advisory groups studying the Oak Street hotel/conference center have recommended that the City Council approve the developer’s business plan — and move the project to the negotiation stage.
Their action Wednesday concurred with a recommendation made last week by the city’s Conference Center Review Committee, which voted unanimously to accept the project.
The next step will be City Council consideration of the issue at a special meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. June 11, at City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St.
