Both lanes of Tumwater Truck Route are open to traffic again following repairs to a water main that broke on Saturday.
The break occurred under the road, which is state Highway 117, south of the Eighth Street bridge.
Crews had hoped to repair the 8-inch main on Monday, but the break’s depth, more than 11 feet, slowed the work.
The water main broke after apparently freezing during recent cold weather.
U.S. Highway 101 southbound truck traffic was rerouted on Lincoln Street until repairs were completed.
