PORT ANGELES — Second place wasn’t bad Saturday night for The Lonely H, the youngest performers in Experience Music Project’s 2004 Sound Off! battle of the bands in Seattle.
The modern rock garage quintet of Port Angeles High School boys still left behind seven other older bands. The Lonely H, however, lost Saturday night to modern rock combo Mon Frere in the finals. The boys did manage to out-perform techno-rock band, Idiot Pilots.
For their efforts, The Lonely H snagged studio time to record their own songs, a guitar and live radio airplay.
