VICTORIA — Puccini’s opera “La Boheme” is coming to Victoria’s Royal Theatre in early 2011.
Local opera fans can accompany members of the Port Angeles Symphony on a trip across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to see a 3 p.m. matinee on Saturday, Feb. 19.
To reserve the best seats, phone symphony coordinator Barbara Hutter at 360-683-4743 before Friday, Nov. 26.
The cost of the trip is $130 per person, which includes a ticket to the performance plus a $40 tax-deductible donation to the symphony.
The price does not include lodging or ferry fare, but Hutter has arranged for a special rate of $89 for a standard room at the Chateau Victoria the weekend of Feb. 18, 19 and 20.
