PORT ANGELES — Future discussions will take place on the architecture of a planned business incubator and skills center in an effort to give the new structure’s look more of a nod to the past.
Despite three days of intensive brainstorming on the architecture of the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center and Business Incubator Network Project, officials will continue talks toward a final decision on the complex’s appearance.
Last week, designers and stakeholders met twice — once in a public hearing — to discuss the appearance of the center’s interior and exterior.
The proposed center will be built on Port Angeles School District land east of the old Lincoln School on 926 W. Eighth St. The district is donating the land, valued at $750,000.
