PORT ANGELES — Sequim Mayor Bill Thomas handed out some business advice to the Port Angeles Business Association on Tuesday.
“We need to be enthusiastic, talk with a smile and act interested in the customer,” the former owner of Bill Thomas Construction said.
“We have to become more skilled by practicing to be the best and support and understand customers.”
Thomas, Sequim mayor for about seven years, appeared before the Port Angeles business group as its guest speaker for its weekly meeting at Joshua’s restaurant.
“The cities of Port Angeles, Sequim and Forks and all the surrounding subdivisions must work together to keep established businesses and bring new businesses to Clallam County,” Thomas said.
“We are all living in the same community and competing with small cities all over the United States for new businesses.”
