PORT ANGELES — Voters will be asked to approve a replacement maintenance and operations levy next February to fund some School District operations.
Late Tuesday night, the School Board tentatively approved seeking a levy of $2.88 per $1,000 of assessed valuation.
The School Board is expected to sign a formal resolution Monday putting the two-year replacement levy on the Feb. 4, 2003, ballot, district Business and Operations Director Jim Jones said Wednesday.
The current three-year levy expires at the end of 2003, he said.
