PORT ANGELES — Police are looking for a possibly armed man wanted for being one of three men who allegedly attacked and robbed another at the Welcome Inn RV Park along U.S. Highway 101 early Tuesday morning.
Police are seeking Ordez Eugene Kompkoff, 20, in the assault and robbery of Daniel Joseph Jenkins, 21, and have arrested two other men suspected in the attack, Police Sgt. Jesse Winfield said.
Those men are Zachary Michael Taylor, 20, of Port Angeles and Joshua Cabe, 26, of Forks.
The attack reportedly happened just after midnight Tuesday, Winfield said, at the Welcome Inn RV Park on Highway 101 near South Fairmount Avenue.
Kompkoff stands 6 foot, 2 inches tall, weighs 195 pounds and has a shaved head and brown eyes.
If anyone sees Kompkoff, police say to call 9-1-1 and not to approach him.
Winfield said Kompkoff “is believed to be armed” after the assault against Jenkins in which a firearm and knives were allegedly involved.
Taylor was in the Clallam County jail Thursday, booked for investigation of one count each of first-degree assault, first-degree burglary and first-degree robbery.
Jenkins also has been arrested, Winfield said, for allegedly assaulting Taylor with a weapon at about 9:45 p.m. March 18.
The assault sent Taylor to Olympic Medical Center with head injuries, Winfield said.
Officers arrested Taylor after he was released from the hospital, about an hour and a half after Jenkins allegedly assaulted him, Winfield said.
Jenkins was in the Clallam County jail Thursday evening, booked for investigation of second-degree assault.
