PORT ANGELES — Authorities are looking for four suspects who allegedly broke into two recreational marijuana stores in the Port Angeles area and stole an undetermined amount of marijuana product, Port Angeles police Sgt. Josh Powless said.
City police and the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office said the burglaries occurred at the Hidden Bush just east of the city in the early morning hours of July 25 and at Sparket in Port Angeles early Thursday.
Video surveillance from both incidents showed four suspects wearing black clothes, masks and gloves.
Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information on the burglaries is asked to phone Port Angeles police at 360-452-4545.
City police and the county Sheriff’s Office are sharing information because the crimes appear to be related, Powless said.
Both businesses were entered by force and multiple items were taken.
Sparket, the target of the most recent burglary, had not yet completed an inventory to determined exactly how much marijuana product was taken, Powless said in a Saturday interview.
“The list of items is still being put together,” Powless said.
Video surveillance from the burglaries is being analyzed by law enforcement.
