PORT ANGELES — Authorities have named a 45-year-old female as a suspect in the homicide of Native American master carver George C. David of Neah Bay.
Tina Marie Alcorn, a transient formerly of Arkansas and Mount Vernon, was in the Clallam County jail this morning without bond on an Arkansas Board of Parole warrant as a conditional release violator.
She was booked into the Clallam County jail earlier this month and appeared Wednesday and Thursday in Superior Court, interim Police Chief Brian Smith said this morning.
David’s body was found in at the apartment of an acquaintance the morning of March 28.
He died of blunt-force trauma to the head, authorities said.
Sgt. Jason Viada said Monday that the Police Department was releasing the information to let the public know that “we don’t have a murderer on the loose” and to request assistance from the public in the ongoing investigation.
