PORT ANGELES — The Medical Careers Club at Port Angeles High School hosted a health fair in the Student Center on May 21.
Approximately 325 students visited informational booths operated by club members according to Betsy Wharton, the club’s advisor.
There were also booths representing the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe Health Clinic and Wellness, Healthy Families of Clallam County, Clallam County Public Health, Olympic Medical Center, the Port Angeles Farmers Market, Strait View Credit Union, North Olympic Healthcare Network Family Practice Residency, Clallam County Emergency Operations, the Port Angeles Police Department, the North Olympic Library System, Washington State University’s Clallam County Extension, the Clallam Resiliency Project and Sodexo Food Services.
