PORT ANGELES — A man was transported to a hospital after he collided with a barrier along U.S. Highway 101 at Brook Avenue in Port Angeles.
Alan Hollison, 74, of Port Angeles was traveling westbound in a 2007 Chevy Corvette on Highway 101 at Brook Avenue about 2:17 p.m. Saturday when the vehicle left the roadway to the right and struck the barrier, the State Patrol said.
The Corvette blocked the right lane when it came to rest, the agency said.
Hollison was taken to Olympic Medical Center. He was wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said.
The cause and any potential charges are pending an investigation, the agency said.
