PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles man suffered minor injuries in a collision with a dump truck, said the State Patrol.
The 9:31 a.m. Friday wreck involved a green and silver 1987 Kenworth dump truck driven by Zachary Addleman, 31, and a black 2010 Ford Escape driven by Kyle Phillips, 26, said Trooper Mark Hodgson.
Both men live in Port Angeles.
According to Hodgson, Addleman turned right onto westbound U.S. Highway 101 from a gravel pit near milepost 256, cutting off Phillips, who also was traveling westbound.
The Ford clipped the left rear of the dump truck, Hodgson said.
Both men were wearing seat belts, Hodgson said.
Only Phillips was injured. He was not transported to a hospital.
The Ford was towed from the scene.
Addleman was cited for failure to yield.
