Port Angeles High School sets welcome night for freshman

PORT ANGELES — All incoming Port Angeles High School ninth-grade students and their parents are invited to a Freshman Welcome Night, to be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Administrators and teachers will welcome the Class of 2017 and parents and guardians, to the school in a presentation that includes pre-registration information in the school’s auditorium, 304 E. Park Ave.

Student planners will be distributed to students in attendance.

Freshman registration will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, during which freshmen will receive their locker assignments, get student identification, school portraits and be able to purchase yearbooks for the 2013-14 school year.

Freshman Rider Day, a freshman activity day to introduce incoming freshmen to their teachers, familiarize themselves with the campus and meet their upperclassmen advisors will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Aug. 30, in the high school gymnasium.
