PORT ANGELES — The School Board will interview four people Sept. 10 for an upcoming board vacancy as President Ken Schermer leaves his post Sept. 30.
Schermer is resigning from the board after 11 years because of health reasons.
During a Monday night meeting, the School Board — Vice President Charlie McClain and members Dorothy Duncan, Cindy Kelly and Nancy McLaughlin — approved applications from Jeff Hinds, Randy McHone, Kevin Snyder and Jessica Schreiber.
The candidates were required to submit resumes and a letter of interest which included biographical information.
