PORT ANGELES — The City Council unanimously approved the city’s 2004 budget at its Tuesday night meeting.
The budget totals $75.1 million, including a $14.1 million general fund that pays for the Police, Fire, Public Works, Community Development and Parks and Recreation departments.
The city is using $200,000 from its reserves to balance its general fund budget, said City Finance Director Yvonne Ziomkowski.
The bulk of the city’s 2004 budget is composed of the city’s sewer, water, wastewater, solid waste and stormwater utilities, and restricted use funds, which total $45.2 million.
