PORT ANGELES — Tonight’s Concert on the Pier has been canceled because of expected bad weather.
The scheduled rock ‘n’ roll band, Jane and John Doe, will now perform on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
The decision to cancel the concert was made Tuesday by the Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce based on rains and winds forecast for today.
Next Wednesday’s Concert on the Pier — from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Port Angeles City Pier — will feature a local favorite, bluegrass-and-folk Deadwood Revival.
The Sept. 10 performance by Jane and John Doe will wrap up Wednesday’s free, outdoor summer concerts in Port Angeles.
The concerts are sponsored by Peninsula Daily News, KeyBank, Wilder Auto Center, Coldwell Banker Uptown Realty, the Port Angeles chamber and Port Angeles Parks and Recreation Department.
