PORT ANGELES — The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has awarded the city of Port Angeles a Certificate of Achievement for excellence in financial reporting.
The award recognizes the city’s Department of Finance for its comprehensive annual financial report.
According to a press release, the department, under the direction of Sarina Carrizosa, demonstrated a spirit of full disclosure to clearly communicate the city’s financial story and motivate potential users and user groups to read the annual report.
