PORT ANGELES — Repairs on the Port Angeles Boat Haven’s breakwater will begin next month, Port commissioners were told Monday.
Port Facility Manager Curtis Shuck said Culbertson Marine Construction of Anacortes was the lowest of four project bidders at $95,100 plus tax.
The materials will arrive Oct. 1, and Culbertson will start shortly afterward, he said.
The Port is providing timbers and other materials and disposing of old ones, Shuck said.
Total estimated project cost is $150,000, he said.
The Boat Haven breakwater was built in the 1950s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to protect vessels moored in the boat basin.
