A worker injured aboard a barge that caught on fire late Friday night was in satisfactory condition Monday.
Brad Peterson of Freshwater Bay was transported to Harborview Medical Center following the fire with first- and second-degree burns to his hands and face, a nursing supervisor said. He boated himself to shore after the fire started.
The cause of the 10 p.m. fire on Port Angeles Harbor is still under investigation, Fire Marshal Ken Dubuc said.
