PORT ANGELES — A different breed of car will be on the streets of the city this weekend — hybrids and electrics.
These vehicles are headed to a two-day educational event, the Olympic Energy Expo.
The expo will be held at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., on Saturday and Sunday.
The event draws a variety of vendors, experts on energy conservation and many products.
“Energy is everybody’s business,” said Sean Trujillo, expo coordinator.
“Once people learn about the products they can start purchasing them and save money while conserving energy.”
