PORT ANGELES — Debbie Homan, Port Angeles Police Department communications officer and public education coordinator, last week delivered 800 boxes of crayons and 1,000 pencils to the Central Services Building for distribution to Port Angeles schools and students.
Each crayon box and pencil is labeled with the message “Clallam County 9-1-1 — What’s your location?” to educate students and the public on how to make a 9-1-1 emergency call.
Homan also will distribute supplies to Sequim, Quillayute Valley School, Crescent and Neah Bay public school districts.
