PORT TOWNSEND — Police are seeking information about a missing 15-year-old girl.
Phoebe McHenry did not return from school today (Friday), her mother told Port Townsend police, Officer Patrick Fudally said in a news release issued at 10:18 p.m.
The teen’s cell was last pinged/located near Interstate 5 in the Marysville area, at about 3:25 p.m., Fudally said.
At about the same time, a friend of the girl received a message on Facebook that said, “Help,” he added.
Her phone has been turned off since then, Fudally siad.
The teen had left for the Ocean School in the 1600 block of Grant Street in Port Townsend at 7:30 this morning but did not attend school, Fudally said.
She was spotted near the school at about 12:30 p.m.
“Since then no one has seen Phoebe,” Fudally said.
The teen is about 6 feet tall and weighs around 300 pounds, Fudally said. She has red and black hair and may be wearing black spandex pants and a Seahawks hooded sweatshirt.
