PORT ANGELES — Police are investigating a string of commercial burglaries along Eighth Street that apparently occurred Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
Seven businesses in the 300, 500, 600 and 900 blocks of Eighth Street were apparently attacked by burglars who forced entry and disabled or tried to disable electrical power to the buildings, Deputy Police Chief Brian Smith said Monday.
All the businesses suffered property damage, and some reported missing items.
Anyone with knowledge about the crimes or the suspects is asked to call the Port Angeles Police Department at 360-452 4545 or North Olympic Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
North Olympic Crime Stoppers pays up to a $1000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest and filing of felony charges, Smith said.
