PORT ANGELES — A 68-year-old Port Angeles man was being treated at Olympic Medical Center after a medical emergency caused him to crash into a neighbor’s yard Monday afternoon.
Ed Rosa crashed through a couple of mail boxes on Fourth Street near Chambers Street at about 2:20 p.m., said Port Angeles Police Sgt. Jason Viada.
Rosa’s adult daughter was in the car with him, reacted and brought the car to a stop, Viada said.
When officers arrived, they immediately began CPR and used an AED defibrillator on Rosa.
Once medics arrived, Rosa was transported to Olympic Medical Center for treatment.
He was still being treated at 4 p.m. Monday.
