PORT ANGELES — Lovebirds planning their big day — and all the essential players who bring a wedding to life — go hand-in-hand at the Peninsula Daily News Bridal Show on Sunday, March 2.
The largest wedding services event in Jefferson and Clallam counties, it will be held at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is free.
Almost 30 wedding-related businesses — including dress shops, caterers, florists, travel agents and photographers — will have booths at the show.
“Brides and grooms can plan the entire wedding right there,” said Sue Stoneman, PDN advertising operations manager and bridal show coordinator.
The wedding expo will also feature bridal fashion shows at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.,
There will be a “Build Your Own Wedding Dress” contest at about 11:45 a.m., with the winner getting a prize package of gifts from North Olympic Peninsula businesses.
