Another busy weekend is on-tap on the North Olympic Peninsula.
Here’s a synopsis of the events:
* The Great Port Townsend Bay 2003 Kinetic Skulpture Race is today through Sunday in the Jefferson County city.
There are a number of events over three days culminating in the main race at noon Sunday.

* Residents of Forks and the West End of Clallam County pay homage to the past during the eight-day Hickory Shirt/Heritage Days beginning today.
This year’s event features cultural, historical, athletic events and tours of logging operations and lumber mills.
* Agriculture is in the spotlight in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley on Saturday when owners of nine farms open their operations to visitors during the Harvest Celebration Farm Tour. The farms are open to visitors starting at 10 a.m.
There’s dancing from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at Dungeness Organic Produce, 1865 E. Anderson Road, and at Lazy J Tree Farm, 225 Gehrke Road.
A harvest dinner is scheduled beginning at 5 p.m. Sunday at the future home of Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave.
* Port Angeles Rotary Club members will be selling hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, crocuses, irises and other bulb varieties will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The sale is at Recycled Earth Products’ sales yard, 2542 E. U.S. Highway 101 (on the south side of the highway, across from Les Schwab Tires) in east Port Angeles.
* Strait Thunder hydroplane unlimited light races are scheduled Saturday and Sunday in the Port Angeles Harbor.
The hydroplanes racing in Port Angeles are smaller than the unlimited hydroplanes that race annually on Lake Washington in Seattle.
Races start at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with the final heat starting at about 4 p.m. each day.
