Most North Olympic Peninsula public school districts will resume classes after Labor Day with the exception of Crescent School District in Joyce.
Students in first through 12th grades return to school in the Crescent School District on Thursday.
Crescent kindergarten
The first day of school for the district’s kindergarten students will be Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Also resuming classes Sept. 3 will be the first through 12th grades in the Port Angeles and Port Townsend school districts and the Chimacum and Cape Flattery districts.
Starting Wednesday
On Wednesday, Sept. 4, first through 12th grades at Quilcene School District will resume classes, as will Brinnon and Sequim school districts.
Quillayute Valley School District in Forks will resume classes Thursday, Sept. 5.
Other kindergartens
Kindergarten in Port Angeles and Quilcene will begin Friday, Sept. 6, while the first full day of kindergarten at Salish Coast Elementary School in Port Townsend will be Sept. 9.
