U.S. Sen. Patty Murray will spend Friday on the North Olympic Peninsula, participating in activities ranging from a ship commissioning to a high-tech ground-breaking.
The public itinerary for Murray, D-Shoreline, includes:
* Commissioning the newest cutter in the Coast Guard’s Port Angeles fleet.
* Touring the West End Business and Technology Center in Forks.
* Delivering the keynote address at a ground-breaking ceremony for a fiber-optic link to the West End.
