Today’s holiday celebrating Labor Day will provide a three-day weekend for many North Olympic Peninsula workers.
All Washington state, Clallam and Jefferson county offices and city halls in Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend and Forks. The Visitor Center at the Forks Chamber of Commerce will be closed.
Post offices will be closed and there will be no mail delivery.
There will be no bus service with Clallam Transit and Jefferson Transit today.
Port Townsend Library, North Olympic libraries, and Jefferson County Library are all closed today, as are senior centers in Port Angeles, Sequim and Port Townsend.
Ferries
The MV Coho had its last 9:30 p.m. run for the year from Port Angeles on Sunday. Its last 6:10 a.m. run for the year from Victoria is today. It continues other regular service.
The Victoria Express reduces its service to two daily arrivals and departures on its Port Angeles/Victoria run until season’s end on Sept. 26 (subject to change). The last day of service on the Victoria Express between Port Angeles and Friday Harbor is today. It will resume in May.
The Puget Sound Express (PS Express) between Port Townsend and Friday Harbor continues regular service until Oct. 1.
Elsewhere, the Bainbridge-Seattle state ferry will add a 7:55 a.m. run from Bainbridge Island today.
State ferry service between Port Townsend and Keystone operates on its normal seasonal schedule.

Visitor activities open
Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Sequim Visitor Centers and the Olympic National Park visitor center will be open on Labor Day.
The Olympic Game Farm will be open.
