Olympic Bus Lines and Pennco Transportation Inc., North Olympic Peninsula private bus service operators, are seeing increases in passengers to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport since Horizon Air pulled out of Port Angeles.
“I think that over the same time frame last year that we’re busier,” said Kevin Harris, owner of Pennco, the Peninsula’s door-to-door bus service to Sea-Tac, which offers shuttle service originating from Forks to Port Ludlow.
Jack Heckman, president of Port Angeles-based Olympic Bus Lines, said his company has seen an increase in business since Horizon Air stopped service between William R. Fairchild International Airport to Sea-Tac on Jan. 6.
