PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College will host a series of Running Start Information Nights in Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Forks beginning this week.
The Information Nights are designed to provide prospective Running Start students and their parents with an opportunity to learn more about the program and how high school juniors and seniors can earn college credit tuition-free.
They will also learn about strategies for success and what parents and families can do to be supportive.
Students and parents who wish to attend a Running Start Information Night on the Port Angeles campus, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd., can do so this coming Wednesday; Thursday, March 9; or Wednesday, April 12.
The information sessions and panel discussions will be in the Little Theater, J Building, at 7 p.m. A campus tour will be offered at 6:30 p.m. for those wishing to participate.
The Running Start Information Night in Port Townsend is scheduled for Tuesday, March 7, at the Peninsula College Port Townsend campus in Room 201 at Fort Worden, 202 Eisenhower Ave. It will begin at 6 p.m.
The Forks session will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 16, in Room 103 of the Forks branch of the college at 481 S. Forks Ave.
