PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College President Thomas Keegan received a $4,403 raise during a meeting Tuesday after only a year on the job.
Peninsula College trustees also extended Keegan’s three-year contract by one year.
The boost in salary and the contract extension followed a job review conducted behind closed doors Tuesday afternoon by trustees.
Under a revised contract, Keegan will be paid $123,403 annually for three years — 2002 to 2005.
Keegan’s original 2001-04 contract included an annual salary of $119,000.
According to trustees Chairwoman Karen Gates Hildt, the raise is based on a cost of living adjustment.
Other than the extension and cost of living adjustment, Keegan’s contract, which will be reviewed every June, remains the same.
