PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College will host a grand opening for its new Veterans Center at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The center is located in Room J1 on the east end of the Pirate Union Building, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The center is designed to create a space for student veterans to study, relax, get help or just share stories.
The ceremony will start with an exhibition by Port Angeles High School’s Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps.
It will include a ribbon-cutting after words from Luke Robins, the college’s president, and Shae Pozarzycki, a veteran navigator at the school.
