PDN to publish online only on Veterans Day

The U.S. Postal Service is not working on Veterans Day, which will be next Friday, so the Peninsula Daily News will not be printed on paper or delivered to your home that day.

Veterans Day is one of 11 federal holidays that the U.S. Postal Service observes. But while the carriers will have the day off, Peninsula Daily News staff will be working the day before and the day of to prepare good reads for subscribers.

The entire Clallam and Jefferson county editions will be presented in the PDN’s online replicas.

They will be available free to print subscribers at peninsuladailynews.com and on our mobile app.

To access the replica print editions online, go to Menu at the top left of Home page, click on it and move down to Print Edition near the bottom of the drop-down menu.

Click on that and choose either the Clallam County edition or the Jefferson County edition.

All print subscribers have access to the digital editions as part of their regular subscriptions and can access the newspaper that day by logging in with their username and password.

Those who need assistance in accessing the website can call 360-452-2345 and choose the Circulation option.

Staff will be available to help on Thursday and Friday.

Stories also can be read on the website.

The free mobile app for the PDN can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play store.

The next federal holiday will be Thanksgiving, on Nov. 24. The usual large Thanksgiving edition will be published on Nov. 23 with a smaller paper on Thanksgiving Day online only.
