Clallam County

The three Clallam County commissioners will conduct a public hearing on a variety of ordinances in their weekly business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting on Tuesday.

The hearing will include potential amendments to Policy 950 – Veterans’ Assistance, an ordinance repealing Chapter 7.02: Pawnbrokers, an ordinance repealing Chapter 7.12: Dance Halls, an ordinance repealing Chapter 7.16: Amusement Devices and an ordinance amending County Code 5.100: Consolidated Fee Schedule Auditor’s Office.

Items on the consent agenda include the 2023 cost allocation plan, an agreement for commercial driver license training with Teamsters Local 589, a 19-day contract extension with PPC Solutions to bridge the gap in courthouse security, an agreement with the state Office of Public Defense for $32,375 to improve public defense services and an amended agreement with EDC Team Jefferson to extend the deadline for quarterly reporting of American Rescue Plan Act fund disbursements.
