PORT ANGELES — Tickets are on sale for Runway for Awareness, a fashion show benefit for Operation Uplift, a cancer support organization on the Olympic Peninsula.
The event will be held at Vern Burton Community Center, 321 E. Fifth St., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11.
Models will wear fashions from Sassy Kat Salon & Clothing Boutique, Black Diamond Bridal, Cottage Queen and The Toggery.
Clothing will be sold, as will alcoholic beverages from Michael’s.
A silent auction will begin at 4 p.m.
The event is for those 14 and older.
Tickets are $15. They are available at Sassy Kat, 525 E. Eighth St.; Cottage Queen, 119 W. First St.; and Sterling Savings Bank, 1033 E. First St.
They also will sold at the door.
The event is sponsored by 7 Cedars Casino and Sterling Savings Bank.
