PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System will continue online book discussion groups throughout September.
Participants must register at www.nols.org to receive the link to the free Zoom meetings.
The Second Tuesday Book Discussion Group will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday to discuss “Sapiens : a Brief History of Humankind” by Yuval Noah Harari.
Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Branch Library.
In October the group will discuss “America: The Farewell Tour” by Chris Hedges.
The Second Saturday Book Discussion Group will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, to discuss “The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature” By J. Drew Lanham.
Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Branch Library.
The group will discuss “Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow” By Yuval Noah Harari in October.
The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group is set to meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, to talk about “The Overstory” by Richard Powers.
Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Sequim Branch Library.
The group plans to discuss “The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek” by Kim Michele Richardson in October.
The Wednesday Evening Book Discussion Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, to discuss “The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe: How to Know What’s Really Real in a World Increasingly Full of Fake” by Steven Novella.
Paperback copies are available for curbside pickup at the Port Angeles Branch Library.
Their October selection is “Circling the Sun” by Paula McLain.
