SHINE — A Poulsbo woman was treated and discharged from Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after she ran into a car that had pulled in front of her on state Highway 104, the State Patrol said.
Jennifer M. Rogers, 40, had been airlifted to the hospital after the 7:48 p.m. Saturday wreck.
Jennifer A. Raybould, 40, of Port Ludlow had stopped on Shine Road at its intersection with state Highway 104 and attempted to cross the highway to Teal Lake Road when her vehicle was hit by Rogers, who was traveling westbound on 104.
Raybould was not injured. The State Patrol cited her for failure to yield.
Rogers was cited by troopers for driving under the influence.
Raybould was wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol said. It was unknown if Rogers was.
Both vehicles were completely destroyed.
