PORT ANGELES — Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau, the tourism marketing agency for unincorporated Clallam County, is seeking to fill three positions on its 10-member board of directors.
Board members should reside or do business in the unincorporated areas of Clallam County, outside of the city limits of Forks, Sequim or Port Angeles.
Openings are for:
■ Lodging 11 rooms or more: Three-year term expires Dec. 31, 2017.
■ Bed and Breakfast: Three-year term expires Dec. 31, 2017.
■ At-large — non-lodging: Three-year term expires Dec. 31, 2017.
The bureau also provides administrative support for the Olympic Peninsula Tourism Commission, a 13-partner group composed of the chambers of commerce and tourism marketing entities from Mason County to Quinault via the northern U.S. Highway 101 route.
The bureau’s board of directors meets monthly in the Port Angeles area, and a conference call-in option is available.
Board members advise staff on policies, programs and promotions.
