OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Barring bad weather, the drive to Hurricane Ridge should be a breeze starting this week when Olympic National Park begins its winter schedule.
Plowing will begin on Hurricane Ridge Road in time to open for Thanksgiving Day, park spokeswoman Barb Maynes said.
The 17-mile road to Hurricane Ridge was open Saturday, after about 2 inches of snow fell overnight, according to Olympic National Park officials.
