SEQUIM — When Nancy Davis unfurls a masterpiece, everything else in the room falls away.
Three of her fans lean in, as though gazing at a revelation.
“Oh, the yin and yang,” breathes one, as the others gently stroke the freshly sewn cloth.
The quilt, bearing the yin-yang symbols in a harmonious score of colors, is titled “Going in Circles.”
Davis’ creation is one of 250 quilts to be part of this weekend’s Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club Show at Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.
The show, which has a theme of “Sequim prairie flowers,” also features a display of more than 40 art quilts, demonstrations of techniques on a community quilt, prizes, a Country Store and a brain-teasing game.
