PORT HADLOCK — The North Olympic Salmon Coalition has announced a new slate of board members and officers.
Current board members Andy Brastad, Brian Roe and Richard Wojt were re-elected to new two-year terms.
Hansi Hals was elected as a new board member.
Hals, the natural resources manager for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, succeeds board member Scott Chitwood who recently retired as the tribe’s natural resources director.
Board members whose terms were not up include Katherine Baril, Jean Erreca and Anita Schumker.
The board also elected the following officers: Jim Pearson, chair; Kathryn Neal, vice-chair; Terry Sweeney, treasurer; and Brian Roe, secretary.
The Coalition is a community-based, nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote robust wild salmon stocks through habitat restoration and education in northern Jefferson and Clallam counties from Port Ludlow to Neah Bay.
